A Walk Alongside Attention
Attention woke up into the absurd, cheered at the opportunity
of experience and felt grateful for another instance to move.
With great love, with its eyes closed, attention started walking
and met the expanse of divinity. With reverent love,
it bowed down and rejoiced in the presence of the totality.
Walking further, it opened its eyes and brought itself to
the canvas of the paper. Poured and poured and it
poured with great care and dissolution, all of itself
into the paper.
Then came in its way the music and the waters of the shower.
And dissolved it was again, carried into the rejoice of the music,
warm in the embrace of the waters.
Came then in its way the lady crying of deep injustice,
dissolved it again into loving compassion, and again
it poured into action of speech, material and thought.
Came its way the mundanity of labor. With complete openness,
embraced it in its utter ordinariness, like hugging an old outgrown friend.
Came its way realizations of the cosmos, when he bowed to the grace of the reveal.
Then slowly closed its eyes and merged into divinity again.
